– his family comes from a longstanding tradition of defending humanity and protecting the weak from supernatural forces.
– trained to be a weapon, he is the best fighter in his family of hunters, sharp and smart; though not always a people-pleaser, his family is important to him. despite all of this, he has always had a secret desire to experience life as a regular boy, straddling the line between living as a normal 20-year-old college student and following tradition.
– only child, especially close to his grandmother.
– while he had been raised to fight, he prefers to trap and banish demons than to kill them

– danger has been looming over his college town, which has brought jules back into hunting. so much for being normal, right?
– jules accepts assignments and calls from those who need his help. his specialty is clearing baddies out of haunted houses.
– main weapon is a special golden grossbow with various types of arrows for different creatures; he has no special powers of his own though he has a stronger ability to summon supernatural creatures to assist him in battle.

– he's especially adept at hand-to-hand combat and can also fight with a dagger, though he prefers long-range weapons.
– unaffectionate and too blunt sometimes, he tries to be serious especially since he knows he has a sweet, unassuming face, but underneath there is a human heart with an understanding that some beings just need to survive in this world.
– he's easily defensive and doesn't keep many friends, though few have broken down his barriers – he's secretly thankful for it. given his life and family history, he's reluctant to keep anyone close to him lest he put them in the line of danger. he seems selfish in his desire to remain aloof but in truth he is deeply concerned about the safety and wellbeing of others.

– jules is currently studying computer science at school though he has changed his major twice already.
- his wardrobe more often consists of ripped jeans, striped or graphic (gamer) shirts, hoodies under denim jackets, slim sweats; he often dyes his hair honey blond. jules stands at a shorter 5'9 but uses his height and weight to his advantage in fight. he has a faint claw mark around the left side of his torso
and a gash on his right arm.

– currently living with: danbi, a living weapon and the bane of his existence
